Interior designer Bea Mombaers not only has shops in Brussels and Knokke-Heist, she also appears in all major European interior design magazines. Knokke-Heist is where Bea runs ‘Items’, one of the leading interior design shops on the coast. She was also one of the first to introduce vintage design, which quickly evolved into a trend. Together with Peter Ivens, she came up with the idea of designing a furniture collection with a more sober appeal than most collections today. She loves Japanese furniture and objects, simplicity of line and the use of sumptuous materials.
